Welcome to the website of the Masonry Contractors' Association of NSW and ACT.

Operating now in our seventeenth year, our association is proudly dedicated to the skills, crafts and trades of the bricklaying and masonry industry, with a passionate commitment to its continual improvement, survival and constant recognition.

It is our mission as an Association to ensure that brick and masonry structures are the preferred building method of the industry and consumer long into the future.

To continually focus on this Mission,bi- monthly General Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month between February and November. These meetings are held at the Master Builders Association of NSW, 52 Parramatta Road, Forest Lodge. There are usually two or three meetings a year held at the premises of our associate and / or supplier members.  Guest speakers attend these meetings to present such issues as tax compliance, product demonstrations, employment and workers compensation etc. These meetings are an opportunity for the bricklaying businessman to keep up with the various changes to the industry and network with his peers for the benefit of his business. He knows that keeping ahead in the industry is crucial in today's market. Membership of the MCA is representative of the large to the small bricklaying companies in both NSW and the ACT.

We highly value our relationships and  constant communication with the Central West Masonry Contractors of Orange and surrounding areas as well as the Master Bricklayers Association of Tasmania and the National Federation of Bricklaying and masonry Employers located in Victoria. We, as an Association, realise that every successful bricklaying company operating today, started from the vision of a single individual and grew from there. To this we offer advice and service to the small and large contractor, to the apprentice or supplier or anyone wanting to know more about this industry that we have invested our futures in.

In November each year, the MCA holds our Annual Awards for Bricklaying Excellence and Dinner Dance. This is where the membership highlights the tremendous skills performed in the marketplace.
